According to The Global Burden of Disease study, one in five deaths worldwide by 2016 is caused by an unhealthy diet.

"Death is a powerful motivator, either for individuals or countries to address major killer diseases, but we are less likely to cope with disease-causing problems," Murray said.
IHME is a study done collectively by 2,500 researchers to analyze data in more than 100 countries.
